Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of β€œme time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

  1. I take a leisurely hour on myself each day. It works for me especially during self isolation.

  2. 40 minutes. It’s just about right before I start my day as a developer helping 859 artists with their work at a production company making great children’s shows for kids to watch during these stressful times. Trying to bring as much joy to them as we can!

  3. About an hour a day on myself. Showering and grooming my body takes up the most time during the day. Great prizes! I would love to win.

  4. During this time of social distancing and staying home I only spend about 10 minutes a day which is fine for this situation!!

  5. A good 15 minutes for myself, it’s definitely not enough . I don’t get that that satisfied and content feeling that I’ve done my best and I’m ready to start the day . You don’t really have much time to spend on yourself when you’re a uni student . You wake up go to class go to work get home do homework and repeat . Spending time on yourself can help set the mood for your day so it’s definitely an important step.

  6. I spend 20-30 minutes a day getting ready which is more than sufficient time for me to get done without feeling rushed, giving me that ‘me’ time witch relaxes me, and lets me ease into my day.

  7. I spend roughly about 30 minutes a day getting ready which is more than sufficient time for me to get done without feeling rushed, giving me that ‘me’ time witch relaxes me, and lets me ease into my day.

  8. On average I spend about an 1-1.5 hours getting ready. I shower, brush/floss, hair, eye makeup and get dressed. I’m allergic to a lot of makeup so I don’t spend a lot of time in that department. My work attire is pretty straight forward so I know what I’ll be wearing which saves time in the morning. I think on days off I spend about the same amount time, maybe a little more if I’m going out somewhere fun and exciting. I’d love more time or doing what I have to do in less time, who wouldn’t?

  9. Depends on the day … about 5 minutes x 2 on a non-hairwash day, and about 10 minutes a.m. and 2 minutes eve on a hairwash day.

  10. I don’t know if I could put a number to it. I guess I have never really thought about it. I would say on a day that I am not trying, maybe an hour or two. It is kind of hard nowadays with the ENTIRE family home. But, I love them. So, it is time well spent.

  11. i can shower, dress, brush my teeth & be set in the mornings with 20 minutes. just the right amt of time for my lifestyle

  12. Normally I would say 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes at night. And normally, I would say that amount of time fits right into the Goldilocks mold … β€œjust right”! But then Covid-19 descended and changed everything! For my mental health and general well being, I’ve been having regular β€œspa days” while quarantined at home. Now … I couldn’t tell you the times. Some people bake … I soak! One good thing through all this … my body hair is truly under control!

  13. Me time eh… is there such a thing when you have a 7 month old rolling around! =)
Maybe about 30min-1hr when our son is napping and the wife is watching her shows.
I relax and maybe start some of my long overdue projects I’ve been meaning to get to.
Would really enjoy a “Philips Total Body Shave and Trim”!

  14. I hate early mornings so have got my β€˜me’ time down to 20 minutes, 5 minutes before bed

  15. I’d say I spend 15 minutes a day on self care alone. That is with shower, shave, and brushing my teeth. Would love to receive new Philips products to replace my older ones.

  16. I can spend from 25 minutes to upto an hour or more on myself because self care is a priority of mine. It’s very therapeutic to me.

  17. I usually spend around 30 minutes on myself for a combined total. That includes mornings and evenings. As a bearded tradesman, I would say that is all the time needed for cleaning and maintaining….

  18. I don’t spend that much time maybe a half an hour. Would love more time to have bubble baths.

  19. I don’t spend enough time on myself. Lately it’s been probably just 10-20 minutes.

  20. I’d say about 45 minutes: 25 in the morning and 20 in the evening. I’d love more time to pamper myself!

  21. I spend about an hour on myself, including showering, getting ready. I think that is about right, for me

  22. I spend about 5-10 minutes on myself a day. I don’t feel like this is enough but it’s hard to find motivation during a time like this.

  23. I spend maybe 5 minutes per day, not including showering. I don’t wear makeup and I don’t style my hair as it is really short. I work from home so I guess I don’t spend enough time for myself πŸ™

  24. I spend about an hour getting ready and I think this about the right time a person has to look there best right
