Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will select 6 winners. One will receive a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, 2 will review Philips Total Boday Shave and Trim,  and 3 will receive a Philips Shaver 6000.

This contest runs from May 1st to May 17th.

Remember you can only enter once. However, you probably know someone else who could use a few more minutes of “me time” and would love a chance to win a Philips prize so share this contest with them.

  1. Around 1 hours in a normal day but I know it’s not enough. I wish I had more time for self care.

  2. I spend about 30mins a morning just shavings trimming which is a pita. Anything to cut down the time would be nice

  3. On a typical work day, I spend approximately 40 minutes on myself….shower, face care, hair, teeth, before I go off to work for the day. I know many who spend much more time on themselves, but I don’t always have that kind of time.

  4. I don’t spend much time on myself. Brush teeth and hair, wash face. Ten minutes at the most

  5. Right now times are tough, we can all vouch for that !! I am currently only spending enough time that it takes to wash my face and rinse my mouth before having a coffee and breakfast.

  6. My brother spends about 40 minutes getting ready and I’m sure he would love this …(and me too, because that means the bathroom could be free earlier )

  8. I think I spend about 40 minutes a day getting ready. Half of that time is spent drying and curling my hair

  9. I spend about 10 minutes a day on myself, I suppose that is probably not enough. Twitter ID: RomComFanatic

  10. I get about 30 minutes to 1 and a half hours of me time. I feel like it is a good amount and I’m grateful to have it.

  11. My guy usually spends about 30 minutes give or take. It definitely doesn’t seem like enough.

  12. About 30 minutes….it’s enough although I really need a new toothbrush…..this would be fabulous! As well as either of the razors…

  13. About 20 minutes a day. I shower, maybe shave, that’s it. This package would encourage me to stay longer!

  14. Unfortunately I only spend about 15 minutes in the morning, especially when it is work days. Definitely not enough time.

  15. I spend a total of approximately 20 minutes a day, primarily in the morning and evening, that I spend on myself. I believe if there were more time I would like to spend more time in the mornings getting set for the day.

  16. 20-30 minutes a day for me time but somehow never feels like enough….some days could definitely use more me time.

  17. Depending on the day, I spend anywhere from 10-45 minutes on myself. I don’t think it’s a good amount!

  18. I guess it depends, usually about 15 minutes I would say 20 or 25 if I have to shower and trim my goatee. Stan.

  19. Maybe 20 minutes in the morning and 10 in the evening?

30 total, doesn’t seem like enough really.

  20. well i have psorasis so i must spend a little extra time so i woild say about hours maybe a day thanks so much

  21. On average, 45 minutes a day. For the weekly at home “spa”day, at least an hour! This of course does not include applying make up, that is only for special occasions, so add an extra hour!‍♀️⏳

  22. Since I retired – I don’t spend too much time on myself at all -(1 hour now about). Thanks.

  23. I spend about 30-40 minutes a day on myself and I think that is more than enough time.

  24. During my quarantine (self-imposed) since March 9th, I’m on my second beard, because my current shaver (not a Phillips) has gotten dull blades.
So apart from raking my hair, which is now shoulder length, I only spend about 15 minutes on care.
When I do finally go out, I’m afraid I’ll be misidentified as a Sasquatch.

  25. I usually spend 1 hour in the morning and about 30 minutes before going to bed for my daily personal routine. For me it is not enough that’s why I add extra time for myself during weekends.

  26. Around an hour in the morning plus 30 minutes in the evening, believe it’s optimal amount of time.

  27. I spend about 30 minutes a day or less on myself everyday. The rest of the time is spent catering to my husband. Cleaning, cooking, nursing my husband back to health, laundry, etc, etc, etc. Really need more me time.
