Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.
Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips
How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.
Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.
Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools
We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.
For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

Good Luck.
2 hours and it is not enough.
I’d say about 2 hours a day, if I’m lucky. The rest is taken up by being at work, thinking about work, dealing with work while I’m at home, talking about work while I drive TO work. Rather all-consuming…
And two hours is not enough!
Usually 25 min
30 minutes and that includes a shower
15 mins brush and go… it’s not enough but work day is long
About 30 min just enough
45 min , just about right
20 min – would like more for sure
30 min a day – too little!
Generally not more than 30 minutes
About 40 mins to an hour. seems enough to me
1hr usually. Definitely not enough
I’d say about 2 hours and I think it’s just a perfect amount of time.. I love cranking music and getting ready
I spend about 15 mins per day. Just enough for me most days.
A lot of my personal care time is spent catching up on all the sleep I missed. I do still groom myself, but I’ve worked out a system where it only takes a few minutes to do so. I also do keep my exercise time up which adds another hour total.
Spend about 20 minutes a day
I guess an hour or 2 if I count walks as me time and I do
If you are talking about personal care then 45-60 minutes will do it…but if you are including time for mental health care in these days of self isolation then it requires a little longer. 🙂
I would say half an hour tops. Most of my time is cleaning or running after my crazy wonderful sons! Definitely would love to spend more!
I spend about 30 minutes a day on myself.. definitely NOT enough!! But I spend lots of time with my children, grandchildren & my 3 dogs… they make it all worth it… thanks for the chance.. would love to win the Total Body Shave & Trim..
I spend about 45 minutes, but would happily spend less and this would help immensely!
About an hour today but spread out over naptimes. Haha
I’m a new dad …still trying to figure hir what time I can steal back for self care. Cant wait for the dust to settle
I have 2 little boys so I have very little time to get ready or have time to myself. 20 mins and I’m usually good to go. I’ll have more time to myself when they are older.
Takes me about 30 to 40 minutes each day to get myself ready (That’s doing the three S’s. S#$t, shave and shower). I find that amount of time is enough
Probably 40 minutes or so, less if I don’t shave that day.
30 minutes…just right
I spend 1 hour to myself but need more self care time
A good 2 hours, the home yoga instructor says we need to be selfish and find more time for ourselves
I am very low maintenance- 1 hour
Around 30 minutes a day… it’s enough most days.
Now that we have more time in our hands I tend to take around 2 hours within these 2 hours I do my skin care, at home exercises, playing board games and cards and more! I feel that the much time is enough but let’s be honest you can never get too much time for self-care!
Not enough. I shower dry my hair put on my makeup and get dressed. The rest of the time is making food and cleanng.
About an hour a day
I spend 30 minutes on average in a given day I spend on myself and I think I should spend more time..
usually 20 minutes
No more than 15 mintutes including brushing my teeth, could stand to do more, that’s for sure.
30 minutes…just right
Generally I spend about 20 minutes but it could be longer if I have free time.
An hour
An hour run a day
I usually spend about 20-30 minutes a day. Always seems like 10 minutes not enough!
I spend as much time on myself as I want!
Being a mom to a 20month old, I think I get about 15 to 30mins a day for myself. This means I do things like brushing my teeth with him. It’s a good way to teach him good hygiene routines 🙂
If you count the gym probably 2+ hours a day.
I probably spend 15 mins on myself although these days it’s probably down to 5.
20 minutes, it’s too little but i’m a little more lazy during isolation!!
I spend about 15 min but it could be longer since I have so much free time!
about 15 minutes, and it is enough.
1 hour for women lol not enough
