Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will select 6 winners. One will receive a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, 2 will review Philips Total Boday Shave and Trim,  and 3 will receive a Philips Shaver 6000.

This contest runs from May 1st to May 17th.

Remember you can only enter once. However, you probably know someone else who could use a few more minutes of “me time” and would love a chance to win a Philips prize so share this contest with them.

  1. I would say that I spend on average 30-40 mins a day on myself. Those precious “me” time minutes make all the difference for a better outlook of the day ahead!

  2. If I only include my morning ablutions, I usually spend 15 minutes stretching and another 15-20 minutes getting ready for the day. I love that I have an easy-care hairstyle as I’m not one to primp! Of course, on days I have to shave (UGH!!) I take a bit longer. I really need an electric shaver!

  3. I don’t spend enough time, maybe 10 minutes in the morning. Need to take more time.

  4. Now I am getting lots of me time but usually I am lucky to get 15 minutes of me time as my time is spent between university, studying, job and sports

  5. I spend about 30 minutes a day on myself including my shower. I think it’s just enough.

  6. I spend about 30 minutes in the morning and again in the evening. This gives me plenty of time to take care of my teeth, skin and hair. Giving myself that amount of times means I don’t rush through it, and I do a thorough job. I think this may be a little too much, but i am happy with it, and I have the time!

  7. I spend about 30 minutes a day. Sometimes longer if I’m going somewhere special, but during this pandemic, no more than 30 minutes. And that’s enough 😉

  8. Between my morning and evening routine, probably about 20-30 mins. A couple days a week I try to use a face mask so that bumps it up to an hour. I think this is probably just enough time, although more is never a bad idea!

  9. I spend around 30 minutes a day on myself, now that I am recently retired I am hoping to spend more time for myself

  10. Maybe it’s 15 minutes on average which I think is too little. I’d like to spend more time which is partly the reason I’d like to win or purchase something that encourages me to get things done.

  11. I spend about 20 minutes a day getting ready in the morning and I think I should spend more time but somehow I always seem to be in a hurry. If I won the Philips Sonicare Toothbrush Prize it would benefit me with cleaner and healthier teeth and gums since it would alert me when I had brushed long enough.

  12. Normally about 1 hour on weekdays and half the amount of time on a weekend day. It seems like a lot of time but I’m worth it.

  13. I usually spend around 10 minutes a day, same for my boyfriend. But there are days when he takes longer because he has to shave, so this would be a real time saver.

  14. I probably spend about an hour a day. Shower, brush my teeth, dry my hair a bit and done. If I go out, maybe another 5 min for mascara and lipstick…lol

  15. Is the question about ‘Me Time’ in general or hygiene/grooming? If it’s the former, maybe 2-4 hours (which works for me). If it’s the latter, probably 15 minutes (which works for me alo)?

  16. During the spring, summer and fall seasons when I’m bucking, splitting and stacking firewood and taking care of my garden, I spend about an hour. Scrubbing off the nasty balsam sap and searching for those dastardly deer ticks are my least favourite, but necessary activities. Wintertime is more relaxed; 30 minutes is enough time.

  17. Approximately 45 minutes in the morning. Honestly, I could be a bit quicker, but then again that’s me time.

  18. I mean the grooming is maybe 15 minutes a day but I like to think things like exercise count too. I think everyone would agree that they’d spend more time if the time were available. It’s great to treat yourself 🙂

  19. I spend about 6 or 7 minutes a day to get ready. I think this is a sufficient amount of time to take to get ready. Sometimes it may take a few minutes more or less depending of if I’m styling my hair or not.

  20. i spend about 20 minutes getting cleaned up for the day would be longer except for the receding hair line

  21. Hi.
I spend about 40 minutes on myself a day. Usually to get ready. Would love to spend more time if I had it. 🙂

  22. 20 minutes in the morning for brushing, grooming and shower. Another 10 in the evening for shower. It’s more than enough for me.

  23. I spend about 15 minutes getting ready for the day…even less with the stay at home Covid 19. This would be beautiful to have, once we get back to “normal”

  24. Haha since we’ve been working from hime I barely spend anytime on myself and it’s fine
