Home health test technologies are increasingly enabling regular self-monitoring of health-related signs. Everyone’s digestive system is unique. Some people experience problems after eating without knowing why, and may restrict their diet out of fear. FoodMarble’s AIRE Digestive Tracker with FODMAP Test Kit gives users the power to face those fears. It’s a small but powerful, portable, and personal diagnostic device with an app that can help you identify foods that affect your body negatively. The FODMAP test kit analyses how well you digest lactose, fructose, sorbitol, and inulin to help you make healthy choices. On the blog, we reviewed the FoodMarble AIRE Digestive Tracker with FODMAP Test Kit and now we are giving away two new AIRE kits in this contest.
How does the FoodMarble AIRE work?
When people have trouble digesting food, the food sits in the gut and begins to ferment, creating hydrogen gas; this gas will appear in an exhaled breath. The FoodMarble AIRE can detect this hydrogen then send the measurement to the FoodMarble app. When combined with a log of foods you ate, bodily symptoms, stress, and sleep, the fermentation data enables you to assess your tolerance to individual foods.
To give you detailed results, AIRE comes with special sachets of powder (FODMAP test kit); mix with water and drink it to determine how the body deals with the major intolerance groups such as lactose, inulin, sorbitol, and fructose. These give a much clearer picture of where your digestion problems come from. Figuring out which food groups cause problems makes your dietary selection in the future easier.
We sent a FoodMarble AIRE sample to a writer, Christine, to test out and share an honest review. Read her review article and check out her video to learn how she tested and confirmed that lactose did not absorb well into her gut.

I would love this-I had recent gallbladder surgery and am having trouble digesting-I would love to know my exact triggers.
The most helpful feature of the FODMAP test kit has to be that it can help me identify foods that affect my body negatively.
I have several food allergies and food sensitivities, this would be a big help
It has the ability to assess my tolerance to individual foods
This would be great to have – I am allergic to so many things!
I occasionally have problems with some food but haven’t been able to determine the problem. This would be invaluable to me
The ability to track what is affecting my digestion would be key, t know what I am sensitive to. With IBD it can be difficult sometimes to keep track of what exactly is kicking off flares and episodes, and narrowing that down would greatly reduce eating anxiety.
The best feature has got to be that it is based on hydrogen levels in the body and tracks track symptoms, stress plus sleep to obtain personalized feedback to manage your diet.
lactose intolerance feature for sure.
I’d love this! I sometimes have issues with food and never know what causes it. I’d love to figure out which food groups cause problems.
This would be a great gadget
Love how easy this sounds to test my intolerances I may not even know I have.
I like that it is a fairly complex diagnostic tool but sounds pretty easy and straightforward to use
This is ingenious. The feature that determines lactose intolerance would be useful for me. Always wondered if that was the problem with me.

I have always had a sensitive stomach and this would be a great way to find out which foods to avoid!
The feature which is most helpful with this FODMAP test kit is that comes with 4 packets of lactose, fructose, sorbitol, and inulin so you can measure exactly which foods have the most digestive problems so I can eliminate the from my diet.
This would be a great gadget to use.
I have been considering a low FODMAP diet for quite some time, but haven’t been able to see a dietician yet. I hadn’t heard about the FoodMarble AIRE digestive tracker until now and this would be really useful to help me understand my food intolerances!
I would love the opportunity to try this. Having stage 4 endometriosis and several health issues over the years although I turned 33 today, my health is something that I am now making a priority to set an example for our miracle son.
Since the test kit analyses how well you digest lactose, fructose, sorbitol, and inulin, I would love to try it to help make better food choices.

The ability to provide clarity on where your digestion problems come from is an awesome feature.
This would be the absolute best. I have been seeing a gastroenterologist for awhile and have test after test done. This would help me out tremendously. Technology is wonderful isn’t it?
This would be cool to try
I would be curious to see if it would identify any intolerances

The ability to assess my tolerance to individual foods
As a sufferer of digestion issues I can’t think of any part of this system that wouldn’t be helpful!

Nice to see how it all works
It’s an interesting concept no doubt. It would be interesting to try at any rate.I don’t seem to have many food intolerances but it might help when something that doesn’t agree with me crops up.
The possibility to assess my tolerance to individual foods
This unit would be great for anyone who suffers from poor digestion and has trouble doing elimination diets to find the culprit(s)
Wow! thanks!! It can help me identify foods that affect my body.
I think the most helpful feature is that it measures the hydrogen on your breath to find the foods most compatible with your body for improved gut health.
It’s a great device to help identifie which food i’m intolerant!
