Today at a special press conference in New York, Sony announced a slimmer and lighter PlayStation 4 system, and finally pulled the curtain back on their powerful new PlayStation 4 Pro. Earlier in the year, Sony acknowledged that an improved PS4 console was coming, and now we know what it will feature: support for 4K quality images and high-dynamic-range technology. Games on PS4 Pro will look richer and more detailed for the best game experience possible. The great news? Both of these PS4 consoles are expected to arrive before the holidays!

Pokemon Legends Arceus is a brand new game on Nintendo Switch from Game Freak that blends action and exploration with the RPG roots of the Pokemon series.

A game bonanza in the desert, the Sony PlayStation Experience celebrated 20 years of the consoles history, by talking about what they have coming out next year.  Tacky?  Maybe, but it’s their party, and they can self promote if they want to.  Frankly, for PlayStation owners, there is a lot to be excited about.  Dialed into the community in a way I havent seen on this scale in gaming, the PlayStation Experience was a big success, and packed to the gills with gaming.

Rare Replay, a compilation of 30 games celebrating the revered 30-year history of developer Rare, is perhaps the easiest―and most difficult―review I’ve done in years. Easy because there’s an absolute irresistible amount of value in this collection, and challenging since it contains literally hundreds of hours of gameplay. While it would easily take months to play through all the games, you only need one night with Rare Replay to come to this conclusion: it’s worth the investment multiple times over.

The fall is fast approaching and with that means another Call of Duty game. This fall gamers will be pleased to see another entry in the Black Ops series.
