KitchenAid enables you to do great things with coffee

I once thought I had to go to the neighbourhood coffee house for a truly great coffee. I would lament when they ran out of eggnog (Did I mention my favourite coffee drink: eggnog lattes!) and wince at getting charged $5 for each cup. And the price kept getting higher each season. I understand that coffee prices keep going up, but there has to be a better way. Then I got an espresso machine and my eyes were opened to the possibilities of great coffee whenever I wanted at a very reasonable price.

First, let me tell you a little about the KitchenAid espresso machine.

There are a few unique features found in the new KitchenAid espresso machines that help you to easily create amazing coffee in your own home. First among these is the flat 58mm portafilter. An issue I often experience at home is not getting a level tamp which results in uneven temperature and often has water flowing more through one side of the filter than the other; so, I don’t get the full rich flavour I expect. KitchenAid’s portafilter can help keep the temperature and water flow even throughout the extraction process.

Another unique feature is the dual temperature sensors. On my machine at home, I run water through it just before I make a coffee, hoping it will equalize the temperature within the machine. KichenAid’s new espresso machines control the temperature throughout the brew, so you know the water is at the right temperature, without guessing.

Perfect coffee without the expense of take-out

The economy is raising prices on everything, including coffee. It’s no surprise that we will continue to see price increases at restaurants and coffee shops.   3. I don’t actually drink any coffee – never acquired the taste for it. But my wife loves it, and I thought this would be cool to get her since she’s never spoiled herself on any fancy coffee. I really think she’d love to try a cappuccino for the first time, maybe with some kind of vanilla blend.

    I drink a large cup a day, reheating it through the morning as necessary. (I used to drink more, believe me.) The first type I would make is definitely a latte.

  15. I usually drink 2 cups of coffee a day, but since I started my education degree it’s gone up to 3-4 a day! The first drink I would make is definitely an espresso to savour the taste of the espresso since I only get espresso drinks on special occasions! Then I would definitely make a cappuccino!

  24. 2 cups a day. First delicious DIY beverage would be a cappuccino (did you know that’s Italian for “little hood”?… if you get the right angle on the foam it should look like a little monk’s hood).

  26. I drink 2-4 cups of coffee and sometimes tea per day. I would experiment with different types of lattes first and foremost! It would be interesting to try both double shot espresso lattes and also tea lattes, like a chai latte, as a nice holiday drink.

  33. Oh wow!! My wife and I drink a lot of coffee, lattes, and cappuccino’s. Between us we probably drink around 5 a day, and it get’s very expensive!! We would LOVE to have one of these in our home!!
    I think that the very first drink that I would make would be a gingerbread latte.

  49. I drink 3-4 cups of dark roast a day. I’d really enjoy a black roast with this machine I’d also treat myself to a cappuccino.
