BenQ projectors

Projectors have been around for many years, yet I don’t think they get the love they deserve! They are more versatile than a television, can display everything from movies to presentations on a huge range of surfaces, and they enable to project a huge range of image sizes. Find out for yourself: enter to win one of four BenQ projectors from BenQ and Best Buy.

Many years ago, when my children were younger, I bought a projector to use as the main display in my basement home theatre. I was shocked that it never stayed in one place: my wife would move it to the bedroom to watch a movie when she was sick in bed, my kids would move it to their bedrooms for sleepovers, and I even took it to work a couple times for presentations. That’s something you certainly can’t say about a television. Rarely a day went by that it was not used for movies, gaming, work and more.

What are some of the great features found in BenQ projectors

Get one of the newest projectors in your home from BenQ and you’ll be amazed at how much you’ll use it. The prizes that we are giving away in this contest, two BenQ SVGA DLP Data Projectors (MS517EH) and two BenQ 1080p DLP Home Theatre Projectors (W1090) were reviewed here on the blog by Erin Lawrence: read her review and you’ll learn why she was “blown away.”

Here are some of the features that impressed her about both projectors:

  • virtually no set up required; plug it in and it is ready to go
  • projected a massive image with amazing clarity
  • bright display even in a brightly lit room

… and specifically about the W1090 (which is designed for home theatres)

  • automatically found the input source including Chromecast
  • picture was remarkable: “this picture rivaled any TV”
  • internal 10W speaker provides fuller sound than the data projector

Which of these features stands out for you as the best? Will you use it mostly for work, for streaming movies … maybe for gaming! Enter now and you may get to find out for yourself how great BenQ projectors are.

  1. I am a teacher. I will use the projector for educational purposes with my students, as well as at home for viewing Wimbledon 2017 and watching my favourite movies on Netflix and Blu-ray.

  2. Contrast ratio is one of my most important specification I am looking for. BenQ has constantly imporved in that matter. Now next important thing to consider, is to display this quality picture on the right projector screen to benefit from its full performance.

  3. Friend has a projector and I’m jealous. Apparently size does matter to me, and good quality pictures ain’t bad either

  4. SmartEco lamp technology enables a lamp life of up to 10,000 hours, making the projector an eco-friendly choice This is great because of the high cost of the lamp. Nice to know it is good for up to 10,000 hours

  5. I like how easy the projectors are to set up. I would love to use then to do some murals on the walls. I also want to paint my little travel trailer with some cool graphics but I can’t draw.

  6. I’d be using it to blow that super sweet Nintendo switch that’s gonna take up residence in my place.

  7. I plan to use this projector in a variety of places. Mainly would like to try to project it as an outdoor theatre source.

  8. My favourite feature that has been listed about the BenQ projectors is that both projected a massive image with amazing clarity

  9. Two HDMI inputs and built in speakers will make this great for the presentations that my family enjoy at milestone events. It is small enough to take to the celebration.

  10. I work from home on my computer using multiple monitors, and I could easily see replacing one of them with this projector.

  11. Projecting a massive image with amazing clarity and bright display even in a brightly lit room will be the biggest plus points this has to offer. Having a big screen cinema-like right at our home. Entertainment will never be the same.

  12. Loving the features with virtually no set up required; plug it in and it is ready to go! Gonna use this at our bonus room with our little kids for entertainment. They love watching the big screen at cinemas. So this will be another big screen level right at our home.

  13. The sound and picture will be amazing!
I would be using it at our cabin for movie nights for the whole neighbourhood!

  14. I love the portability of Ben Q projectors. I can easily move it to any room or over to a friends house to use. The plug and play feature is also an awesome feature which simplifies the use of it compared with the older projectors.

  15. Automatic source detection is definitely my favourite feature. Such a small thing but makes a huge difference in user friendliness.

  16. I like that the projectors and plug and play – it makes things easier to set up and portable around the house

  17. Would use in the living room to watch movies with our 4 kids. Always nice to be able to have family movie night, specially with a good home entertainment projector as the BenQ HT2150ST.

  18. I would use it at home on my ceiling. I have a tin ceiling painted white so it is the perfect display screen. (Truth be told all the ceilings in my house are white. :D)
